Welcome to our first annual Adeline’s Aid August dropbox event.
For the month of August we will be collecting items to package bedrest baskets for mothers in preterm labor in our local hospitals.
After my experience I can promise you, most mothers on bedrest do not know what/how much help she needs. Initially you are in shock and not thinking clearly. That is why we need your help collecting items to uplift her and make her feel pampered, relaxed and encouraged.
Currently we have a dropbox at First Baptist Fort Mill and several local neighborhoods. If you would like to assist with this event please contact us and we would love to give you some flyers and a collection box. Items currently in need are chick lit books, adult coloring in books, pencil crayons, nail polish, face masks, unscented soaps and lotions and healthy snacks. Alternatively we would greatly appreciate a donation made through our website to put towards the baskets.
We are a new nonprofit, currently tiny but mighty, just like our NICU warriors. So our website, blog and social media accounts are all a work in progress. We look forward to updating you all in September with our packing party and first drop off for all the sweet mothers in need.
